Oh-So Punk Refried Black Beans
1 15 oz can black beans, including liquid.
1 Tb margarine
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 Tb chopped fresh cilantro
Salt and Pepper to taste
- Heat margarine in a non stick skillet on medium heat.
- Add spices and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl mash the beans until you reach a chunky paste consistency,
leaving some beans still intact.
- Add to skillet with spice mixture and continue to cook until heat through
- Stir in cilantro and serve warm.
